Seriously...

So last night I get this mom who comes into the ER because her 3 year old decided to drink some of grandmas cough syrup with codeine. How much did he drink, she does not know but all he would say was "mmm it's good"!! When told he would be fine and all we would do was monitor for 2 hours to make sure he was ok she had a fit ( which was the recommendation from poison control) Oh and I should mention she had attitude from the minute she walked in the door. So of course she is scared and wants EVERYTHING done but when asked how long it had been since he drank the medicine before you brought him in? Her reply was TWO HOURS!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! Next patient please....
